Author's Notes: Written in like... five-ten minutes? IDK. Just something.

It's not that she doesn't want to remember. She keeps herself busy, her mind busy, her body moving, her mouth chattering just so she doesn't have to think about her Doctor's face when she kissed him-- his clone, really, the new Doctor, the same Doctor, but not. This one wasn't her Doctor, and she wants to remember, but she doesn't want to remember, and everything seems harder to forget when this Doctor is beside her, talking, smiling, acting all clever, like himself all the time. This Doctor who loves her makes it hard for her to forget her Doctor.

But it's not like she doesn't want to forget, either. Her Doctor gave her everything, the sun, the stars, a life, but he never gave her himself. Not now, at least. It's a stupid, selfish thought, a stupid, selfish wish, but she wants that life again. The life of traveling, of running when there was danger, of hugging just because. She misses it, and that's when she wants to forget about it.
